The Cash Register system has been designed to allow you to enter
collections of any type throughout the day and then post these collections
to various other ACS systems (such as Utility
Billing) at day's end after all cash drawers have been balanced.
The system works best on a network. This allows you to have one or more
terminals dedicated to entering collections. These terminals would normally
be at the collection window and would always be available for use in recording
collections. By having access through the network to other systems, such
as the Utility Billing system, the Cash
Register system can verify customer numbers, allow searches for customer
balances, etc., and then post the collections directly to the other system.
This Cash Register system provides many reports to assist in balancing
each cash drawer at day's end. It will also print a receipt to either
a receipt printer or to a regular printer. This system does support serial
and parallel cash drawers.
