Penalties and Other Charges

The system can automatically calculate a penalty on any delinquent accounts at year-end. The system allows you to enter any penalty rate. You have the ability to exclude any taxpayers from a penalty.

The report (shown below) will be produced as the penalties are generated. The system also has the ability to generate two other charges on any taxpayer that is delinquent. These types of charges are usually made to recover costs of postage and handling on delinquent accounts.
